Holdage Pty Ltd was incorporated in 1983 and started trading as Broome Hovercraft in 1999. Although it operates sophisticated craft, the staff numbers are small. In all there are four staff currently including two working directors, a pilot and office manager. With the delivery of the first of two new state-of-the-art Pioneer Mk III, 25 seat hovercraft in 2010 and the imminent approval of a food and beverage licence, these staff numbers will rise to six without the directors, who will fill in as required.

Roger Colless is the sole director of the company and started his working life as an aircraft engineer in the Fleet Air Arm of the Australian Navy. After

She produced four children and worked on and off in nursing through some of these child raising years. Later she became a tactile interpreter for deaf and blind students into university and there was involved as a research assistant.

Tim Posch, the Pilot, started out with Paspaley Pearls as a young lad and got his Master 5 skippers ticket at the tender age of 21. He then went pearl diving for Paspaley for seven years before joining Broome Hovercraft in 2007.
