Broome is an amazing destination and with Broome Hovercraft you can
visit sites that are completely inaccessible by any other method.
Our tours cover such a wide section of the country's history from
the wide range of clear dinosaur footprints along the shoreline
with their 120,000 million-year-old history to the old Broome
jetty, where at low tides you can see the remains of the flying
boats strafed during World War 2.
Meander past pearling boats and discover the impact the pearling
industry had on Australia throughout history. This industry meant
Broome became the home of people from around the world dramatically
impacting on the areas development. See the remains of the old
lighthouses on Buccaneer Rock or check out the new Broome Jetty and
some of its more modern history.
View one of WA's natural wonders the ‘Bingle Bingle', a unique
rock formation similar to the Bungle Bungles but on a smaller
scale. Broome Hovercraft can also bring you up close with the local
fauna and flora. Learn about the fascinating migratory birds that
feed on the mudflats and perhaps see some of the dolphins and
dugongs inhabiting the area.

Broome Bird
Observatory
Located approximately 25km from the centre of Broome, and
situated on the picturesque Roebuck Bay, the Broome Bird
Observatory is dedicated to the conservation of unique local
shorebirds. Discover the fascinating story of the 800,000 birds
that use the area annually, many migrating from the Arctic. |

Broome Crocodile
Park
Broome is well known for their crocodile population and the
Crocodile Park gives you the unique opportunity of getting up close
to these natural predators. The park is home to a wide range of
crocs including the numerous and dangerous salt water crocodiles,
Australian fresh water crocodiles, New Guinea freshwater
crocodiles, South American Caimans and American Alligators. |

Broome War
Memorial
Broome War Memorial is located in Bedford Park overlooking the
Roebuck Bay. The memorial remembers residents who died during both
World Wars and the Vietnam War. The park also contains a range of
other memorabilia including a train coach once used on the railway
line connecting the original town jetty to Chinatown. |

Cable
Beach
When thinking of Broome Cable Beach is one of the images that most
readily springs to mind. Cable Beach is widely regarded as one of
the world's best beaches with over 22km of pristine white sand and
clear tropical water. |

Chinatown
Chinatown is a visual reminder of the multi-cultural heritage of
this pearling town and is still home to some of the country's
finest pearl showrooms. Take a walk through this bustling area,
which was originally the commercial centre of Broome. |

Fishing
Broome has a well deserved reputation for its fishing.
There is no shortage of fishing equipment hire available and plenty
of fantastic places to catch yourself a meal. |

Pearling
From the Japanese cemetery to a range of memorials Broome
is still a living tribute to the pearling industry both past and
present. Take a walk through the fascinating history of this
industry and even visit one of Broome's active pearl farms. |
